Archbishop Christian-Thomas is a life long student and researcher into esoteric comparative religions: vis. – Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Mormonism, ancient and contemporary Essenism, Jewish Mysticism, Zoroastrianism, Moorish Science, ancient Egyptian and Sumerian spiritualities, Gnosticism, Wicca, etc. Furthermore he has researched the darker aspects of such religions as Vampirism, Traditional Witchcraft, the Qabalistic Qlipoth, Thelema, Theosophy, Voudun/Santería, as well as others. As a result of his diligent investigation, he has come prepared to discuss intelligently a widely divergent pot pourri of spiritualities and what might be called anti-spiritualities.

He has been a Theognostic  since 1973.  In 1991, he was ordained to the Independent Catholic Priesthood, having received the S.T.L. Degree, and consecrated as a Bishop in 1993.  He has served as leader in The Church of Philadelphia since 1991 and as Consecrated Abbot of the Order of the Christos since 1993.  His formal education has included anthropology, psychobiology, archaeology, genetics (B.A.), social work (M.S.W.), spiritual psychosynthesis, Polarity, and behavioural science, the latter of which he received a dual Ph.D./Sc.D.

Most recently, he has received a joint S.T.D./Th.D. From the Esoteric Interfaith Seminary and is presently officially affiliated with the Esoteric Interfaith Church as an Archbishop.  His religious orientation is purely  Christic especially of the Thomasine School of Theognosis, a Mystery Tradition whose roots go back to St. Thomas the Apostle and ultimately to the Person of Christ.
